| Puppy Mills, are a living but very real nightmares, they are horrible places where dogs are kept in the most deplorable conditions. Puppy mill breeders care nothing about their dogs, they give their dogs little or no veterinary care. Puppy Mills breed for profit only, they sell to pet stores, brokers or bunchers. An estimated nine out of ten puppies sold in pet stores come from puppy mills. These mills are sometimes licensed by USDA. Puppy milling is considered animal cruelty, and should be stopped. A puppy mill will not let you visit their kennel. They provide no socialization for their dogs, Their dogs are forced to live in tiny cages such like that of a rabbit hut on chicken wire, they never or rarely get to touch grass or run and play they never get called by name they are just known by a number. They never know what it is like to be a dog they are held captive their entire lives and are never shown any love at all they are never petted and the only human contact they have is when they are being picked up and moved to another cage for breeding. Imagine if that was how your life was spent. They have never done anything wrong but will be held like a prisoner their whole life just for the love of money. Puppy millers will breed any kind of dog no matter what their health conditions are, If a puppy is born with no eyes and cannot be sold they will keep them for breeding if they are born with three legs because of over inbreeding they cannot sell them but they will keep them for breeding. They do not care all they see are dollar signs. Puppy millers are well known for over breeding. A female is bred every time she goes into heat. This can cause severe problems in the females such as ovarian cancer, and cysts. The dogs spend their entire lives in one place, which creates hostility toward the puppies. Females will often kill or eat their puppies. Most of the females suffer form malnutrition, and lack of veterinary care. Life long confinement and lack of socialization will cause a dog to go mad. Puppy mills breed for quantity not quality. Before you get your next pet please visit the people you are getting a puppy from, make sure they only breed one type of dog, puppy millers breed different breeds and know nothing about them. Puppies are transported every day in vans or boxes all over the United States to pet shops these trailers sometimes do not have air conditioning and it is dark some puppies die because off the stress in shipping. There is a saying that says out of a liter of eight puppies who end up in a pet shop hurry and kiss them all good bye because out of the eight only one of them will live. I just wonder how puppy millers sleep at night. I pray that God punishes them in the same way as they have treated their poor helpless little animals. If you do not love them let them go, and give them a chance for someone who will love them. I put this page up for one reason I want people to be aware and know what to look for, If you see a puppy mill please call your local Humane Society. I take this very personal, and I want this to stop, I think there is a special place in Hell for these people, and if I find out about a known Puppy Mill you can bet on one thing, I will become their worst Night Mare. Have a Heart, and lets stop this tragedy together Marilyn Pyeatt " Warning" Please be advised you are about to see images you will never forget, |

| HERE ARE A FEW TIPS ON FINDING A GOOD BREEDER A RESPONSIBLE BREEDER DOESN'T MIND IF YOU ASK LOTS AND LOTS OF QUESTIONS. AND IN RETURN WILL ASK YOU QUESTIONS. WILL BE HONEST WITH YOU IN ALL ASPECTS OF THE BREED, GOOD OR BAD. WILL HELP EDUCATE YOU ON THEIR BREED OF DOGS. AND HELP YOU UNDERSTAND IF THIS IS THE RIGHT BREED FOR YOU. IF A BREEDER DOES NOT ASK YOU TO VISIT THEIR KENNELS, THEY APPARENTLY MUST HAVE SOMETHING TO HIDE, AND THAT IS USUALLY A PUPPY MILL. A GOOD BREEDER WILL NOT TALK TRASH ABOUT ANOTHER BREEDER, IN MY OPINION THAT IS JUST BAD BUSINESS. A GOOD BREEDER WILL RECOMMEND ANOTHER BREEDER IF YOU DO NOT HAVE WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR. ASK IF A BREEDER HAS MORE THAN ONE BREED, IF SO HOW MANY, A GOOD BREEDER WILL USUALLY ONLY RAISE ONE BREED OF DOG, A GOOD BREEDER WILL RATTLE ON ALL DAY ABOUT THEIR DOGS THEY WILL WANT TO TELL YOU ALL ABOUT THEM ASK IF THEY ARE STATE OR USDA LICENSED PUPPY MILLS ALSO WILL SOMETIMES HAVE BOTH THESE LICENSE ASK WHEN THEY WERE LAST INSPECTED ASK FOR THERE INSPECTORS NAME AND NUMBER IF THEY HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE THEY WILL GIVE IT TO YOU. A RESPONSIBLE BREEDER WILL NOT BREED A FEMALE ON HER FIRST HEAT, THESE ARE JUST MY PERSONAL OPINIONS ON A RESPONSIBLE BREEDER, PLEASE WHEN YOU ARE THINKING OF A PUPPY DO NOT BUY FROM, PET SHOPS, BROKERS, OR BUNCHERS, MEET THE PEOPLE YOU ARE GETTING YOUR PUPPY FROM, NOT ONLY WILL YOU BE DOING YOURSELF A FAVOR BUT YOU WILL BE STOPPING BAD BREEDERS FROM SELLING THEIR PUPPIES AND PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS.
