Quality,  Love, and ever lasting Tranquility, is what you will find at
Tranquility Chow Chows of Huzzah Creek.

All of our Chow puppies are bred for health, temperament, and disposition, if the parents do not have
good disposition and temperament neither will the puppy, socialization is nothing unless it is in the
genetics. Do not get me wrong our Chow puppies are socialized and played with daily, but if you breed
dogs with bad temperaments and dispositions it does not matter how you socialize the chow puppy it
was born with those genes, and it will show somewhere sometime when you least expect it.
When you adopt one of our Chow puppies you will get a high quality, extremely healthy and social
Chow puppy that you and your family can enjoy for many years to come.
Our Kennels
Our Chows have their own 10x10 kennel pen they are kept in at night only if they do not want to come into
the house, and when they are not in a play yard, I believe everyone needs their own place to call their own
when it is time to rest.
Our chows have three different play yards.  One 10x48  play yard, a 1 acre yard, and a five acre play yard.
I have some Chows who like to stay in the house with us and I have others who do not like to come in,
but I give them all the option of living in the house with us, But in the summer forget it they love to be
outdoors

The Puppy House:
Our Whelping House is under construction. We are trying very hard to get this
finished. We are building our Puppy House under Missouri State Guidelines. Our Whelping House
provides the mother with privacy and also protects her from the weather. Our Whelping House is
cleaned and sanitized twice daily. It has heat for the winter and air conditioning for the summer.  All
materials in our Whelping House are easily disinfected, for the health of our mommy's and babies. We
have added new landscaping around our kennels, We have planted red maples, crab apple trees,
wisteria bushes, and Day Lilies.

Flea & Tick Control
We use Front Line for prevention of fleas/ticks on our adult dogs from Spring through the first frost of the Winter
season.
Our most common problem is biting flies, mosquito's, and gnats.
Spring/Summer/ & Fall. We  use 2 tablespoons of vinegar in our chows water bowls this even helps with
fleas and ticks, and I consider this a safer method. Also you can spray Listerine around the kennel area or patio
area where you and your Pet stay when outdoors.

Visitors are always welcome at our Kennels, But keep in mind I have also got a life and I enjoy being
with my family, I will no longer allow kennel visits on Sunday's. Sunday is my time to go to church and
be with my husband and My sons my daughter in-law and my grandchildren.
We work six days a week and Sunday is just a day to relax.
Visitors will only be allowed to visit their puppies after the puppies are 4 weeks old.
You then will only be allowed to play with your puppy.
