| Hello! Thank You for stopping in for a visit. Welcome to my Crazy Life, I wouldn't change a thing! We are from a very small town here in the beautiful Northern Ozarks of Missouri. I am the 5th generation to live here. I am married to my best friend Joe and we have three son's Cody, Eddie, and Bobby. We have one daughter in law Autumn. And the newest and sweetest additions to our family is our grandsons Landon & Owen who are the apples of our eye, They are just way to cute, I have been a farm girl all my life, I grew up with cattle, horses, goats, and we always had a few chickens around, I love fresh eggs. Growing up on a farm is great! Everyday is like a new adventure. My husband Joe and I live on a very small farm of 86 acres, we have two Missouri Fox Trotters. I quit showing and raising them a few years ago due to health reasons. My husband Joe owns his own logging business, so he keeps pretty busy with that. And his business is a big help when I want to splurge a little on my chows. Joe was the one who caused my fascination with this breed, he told me, No other dog can love you any more than a chow, and I just had to find out for myself, (I am from the SHOW-ME state you know.) He was right! I am not a puppy mill and visitors are always welcome here, I may not have the best Chows in the world (to some people) but I do have very good natured and loving Chows, my Chows are very happy here and they are spoiled to the hilt. They are very loyal and are very loved. Our house is like a obstacle course, if I get up in the middle of the night I have got to remember when I get to the end of the bed to step over Deshi, when I make it to my bedroom door I have got to step over Gaesha, Then Numa. Gabby is always close to a mirror she loves to look at herself so when I am getting dressed I hope my shoes match what I am wearing. When I am cleaning house it looks like I have a train of Chows behind me Deshi, Gabby, Vargo, Poncho, and Paige follow every step I make. Numa & Gaesha will be somewhere napping. There is no way to get out the front door most of the time so we have just started using the back door because Jasmine will be laying right in front of it and it is just to much to ask her to move, I have tried and she just looks at me like, don't you have another way out of here. When I do go to the back door Taffy will be waiting there for me, so around every nook and cranny and every turn I am always greeted by one or the other of my Chows, and I LOVE IT !! Our Chows are always welcome in our Home! On any given day all my girls may be in the house, or I may have napping puppies, here there and everywhere. I have an excellent vacuum cleaner. My Chows have the option of coming into our house or staying in the kennel, I love the outdoors and so do my Chows. In the winter you may find them all in our home but in the summer forget it, I can't drag them in here. We have only one son left at home now, and that is Bobby he is a big help when we have puppies, he is always letting one or the other and sometimes all of them tag along when he is playing. Bobby is a real big help in pre-spoiling the puppies. Joe cannot resist the puppies he likes to bring them into the house to play. When all the chores are done we go sit in the puppy house, this is the only time my husband and son doesn't mind being in the doghouse. We spend lots of time with our Chows and the new puppies, the chow puppies have lots of toys to play with, and we love watching them play. Well I guess this is enough about my family and I, if you are ever down in the Ozarks of Missouri and you just need to relax and get away from it all we would be more than glad to have you stop in for a visit and play with our Chows, And as I always say, Home is where you feel the most comfortable. Come when you can, but until then may God Bless you and keep you and your family safe, and may there be a Chow to be your Guardian Angel. Chowfully Yours, Marilyn Pyeatt |
